I arrived at the hole just as the sun was creeping over the mountain. 56F with a slight wind, it felt great out. Started off in the shallow back coves and played around with some dink lmb nothing over a foot.
Moved on to a main lake point made a blind cast towards some deep water and nailed a healthy striper. For the next 5 hours I camped on that same spot and slaughtered the stripers. Anything shad patterned was getting nailed but the deep diver raps seemed to outperform the rest.
Some relatives were coming over for dinner so I decided to harvest 20, caught & released at least double that. I made crispy fried striper fingers and the other half my girl made baked striper enchiladas’ mmm Enjoy![
