i had to get out in the boat. its been a month. 13 degrees at put in. well we got smoked. found fish everywhere in the narrows but they wouldnt bite. only caught 1 monster crappie and 2 perch. the fish finder blew up all through the narrows but it stunk. guess spending the day w/ my old man made it worth it.

Had the same idea but was coward. I'll try to put it out of my head untill we get warm spell in January. Gotta give you credit for giving it a shot. (separates the men from the boys)

I have got to get over there and see if the trout are doing anything. Today would have been a really nice day over there with bluebird skies and no wind. Mike

i'm a bass guy 100% until they stop but will try crappie after that. love not seeing the warm weather rookie crowds hammering the same spots with the poor mans fish finder. didnt even see trout jumping like usual either
