Beats freezing you backside off fishing Hebgen or Quake. Some nice looking paribia fish. I would enjoy fishing like that.

I've fished some floating mat type structure like that in southern utah for brookies but I didn't have to dig my own holes. Some of the openings I drop through are no bigger than a dinner plate though.
