Mill Hollow?

I know they have been doing dam repair on it. Thinking about going this weekend to try my new float tubes out that I bought for the wife and myself. I want to know if anyone has been recently and if it is worth going (water access and how low). Or should I be looking for another place to go?

My wife and I were up about a month ago and the water was up but not full. There were lots of hungry small fish.

Mill Hollow dam repairs are done. The water level is low but fishing is good for small planters. Access is good and getting a float tube on the water is easy. There are a lot of dead fish in the reservoir. My guess is that these fish were killed by hook removal. Treble hooks and power bait are not a good choice for catch and release fishing. Flies or a pistol Pete behind a water bubble works well.
