Well, it's about that time of year. The edges are receeding. Major access points on the ice aren't a problem but anywhere else there is about 2-3' of open water along the shorelines and only going to get worse. Fishing was surprising fast in the middle of the day but petered out as the day progressed. 10 feet of water was the best luck and small ice flies worked best. All fish were 17" + and fat except for 1 little guy. Didn't see a single person in the area I was fishing.
